Payment Terms

Payment is provided in advance by credit card, money order, certified cheque or personal cheque. Personal cheques will be subject to bank clearing and may take up to 7 days. Any applications received with a personal cheque will be held until such time as the cheque clears.

Service Guarantee

Express Legal guarantees that your certificate will be ordered within 24 hours of receiving your request and confirmation that payment has been verified, excluding weekends and holidays. A receipt will be issued and sent to you by email or mail within 48 hours, along with details regarding your certificate.

Delivery of Documents

Express Legal is a private third party agent acting on behalf of its customers. It is not affiliated with any branch, department or agency of any federal, provincial territorial or municipal government.

All certificates are mailed, or couriered to you upon request, directly from the government agency responsible for issuing vital records.

Delivery of all certificates are subject to any delays within the government agencies who issue the certificates. Any time estimates given by us are advisory only. We cannot therefore provide a refund where delays are beyond our control.

We will endeavour to have a duplicate certificate issued if your certificate is lost in transit or if you provided an incorrect address. No refund will be given for non delivery of a certificate directly issued from the government agency.

Privacy Policy

It is important to us that your privacy is protected and the personal information you provide us is collected, used and disclosed only for the purposes of that which you have authorized us. The information provided to us in your application is collected, used and disclosed solely for the purpose of requesting the documents which you require from the respective government agencies. Your personal information will only be submitted to the agency to which you directly authorize us to do so at the time your application is submitted.
