This site is available for use by the legal profession and general public to obtain Prince Edward Island Government approved and official certificates of birth issued by the government agency as an independent authorized agent.

Fees & Processing Times
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cheque or money order – Please make cheque or money order payable to “ExpressLegal”.
Certificates ordered with regular service average 10 to 15 business days to be processed and delivered.
Certificates ordered with rush service average 5 to 8 business days to be processed and delivered.

- Small Marriage Certificate (Wallet Size) – $75.00 each
- Large Marriage Certificate (Framing Size) – $85.00 each
- Rush Service – $35.00 additional processing cost (includes multiple certificates)
Fees include all taxes, search, shipping and processing charges.
If no record of the marriage is found by Prince Edward Island Vital Statistics, fees will be applied to the search cost and will not be refunded.

PEI Small Marriage Certificate (Short Form – Wallet Size)
Contains the full names of the couple, place of marriage, date of marriage, registration number and date of registration. The size is 9.5 x 6.4 cm (3.75 x 2.5 in).
PEI Large Marriage Certificate (Long Form – Framing Size)
Contains the full names of the couple, place of marriage, date of marriage, place of birth of the couple, registration number and date of registration. The size is 21.6 cm x 17.8 cm (8.5 x 7 in).
